Private on your screen.
Still is built around visual privacy: deciding when your private browsing can be seen.
Control the view.
Keep your place.
Start with the people nearby.
Screen privacy matters when someone borrows your phone, walks past your desk or sits beside you. Still separates private browsing from a public view, with locking and deliberate authentication to return.
A deliberate lock.
Device biometrics help with everyday opening. A manual lock requires your Still PIN. Your tabs and site sign-ins are retained so you do not need to start again.
Understand the boundaries.
Still is not a VPN. It does not make your browsing anonymous, change your IP address by default or stop websites from recognising a signed-in account. Website and network tracking remain separate concerns.
No app can promise that an already visible screen was never photographed or captured. Still reacts to supported capture and lifecycle events; it cannot undo a screenshot already taken.
Your device, your data.
The app keeps browser data on your device and does not require a Still cloud account. Websites you visit still have their own cookies, data collection and privacy policies.
A separate public space.
The public view is intentionally separate from your private tabs. Choose public content you are comfortable displaying. Closing a temporary tab removes its temporary website storage; ordinary tabs preserve sign-ins.
