A few things to know.

Straight answers about Still, screen privacy and everyday browsing.

What kind of privacy does Still offer?

Still focuses on what other people can see on your device. Lock private tabs and show a separate public website or reading view. Websites and network providers can still observe normal internet traffic.

Does Still include a VPN?

No. Still does not include a VPN or make you anonymous online. It does not change your IP address by default.

How do I unlock my tabs?

Use device biometrics for everyday opening. After manually locking Still, enter your six-digit Still PIN to return to your private tabs. Available biometrics depend on your device.

What happens to my tabs when I lock?

Locking keeps your private tabs and sign-ins so you can return to them. Private browsing is hidden behind the lock. Media behavior depends on your per-tab permissions; the Stop control stops playback.

What can I show while Still is locked?

Choose a separate public website or an RSS reading view. The public view is separate from your private browsing and does not unlock your private tabs.

Which devices does Still support?

Still is built for iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later, and Mac through Mac Catalyst. Contact us for current distribution and Mac compatibility details.

Does Still sync my browsing between devices?

Still currently keeps browser data on the device. It does not provide a cloud sync account.

What are temporary tabs?

Temporary tabs use separate, non-persistent website storage and are not saved for restoration. Closing one removes its temporary website data. They do not hide your activity from the network or a website.

Can I clear one website’s saved data?

Yes. Manage website data lets you clear a selected website’s cookies, sign-ins, cache and local storage while keeping other sites’ sign-ins. Clearing all site data is a separate action.

What does the optional wipe PIN do?

After manually locking Still, entering your separate wipe PIN permanently erases private tabs, favourites and website data, then opens the public browser with your replacement pages. Your normal PIN returns to an empty private browser. Erased data cannot be recovered.

Can I use my own proxy?

Still supports an optional HTTP CONNECT proxy for supported browser and reader traffic. You supply the proxy service. This is not a device-wide VPN; external apps, AirPlay receivers and some network traffic are outside its scope.
